Statement of Faith
Cynthia Wilson Ministries holds these truths:
We believe in the Father who is God Himself, Creator of the universe. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1).
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. (Col. 2:9).
Jesus suffered, died, was buried, and rose from the dead for our total salvation. (Luke 3:21-22; Philippians 2:5-11).
We believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. (John 3:36; John 3:31-31).
We believe in the Holy Spirit who is God indwelling, empowering and regenerating the believer. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, Comforter, Guide and Keeper. He is the Spirit of Truth. (John 14:17, 14:26)
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ atones for our sins and iniquity. It is through His shed blood that we are saved, healed and set free from bondage and the forces of darkness. (Romans 5:9-11; Ephesians 1:7; Revelation 12:11).
We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a separate experience from the initial acceptance of salvation.
We believe that every believer must pursue God for a close and intimate relationship with Him.
We believe in exercising the healing and deliverance power of God to set the captives free, to break every enslaving yoke of bondage and release healing and deliverance.
We believe that believers must renew and saturate their minds and heart to the Word of God to experience and maintain a continual healing and deliverance.
"Winning the lost and empowering believers"
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them athat are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengence of our god; to comfort all that morn, to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified." Isaiah 61:1-3.
